Growing up

My kids are growing up. This week I realized that my oldest is too tall to play on the playland at McD's. This seems particularly weird to me since it seems like just last week I was patrolling playland as part of my after school job. Sometimes it seems like I'm still a kid myself. He's not a kid anymore, he says. Well he isn't a grown up, we say. We asked him what he is. His response?

"I'm middle aged."

Hmmm...

He reminds us frequently that he is now "in the double digits." Apparently, this means he's supposed to get to do more cool stuff than he used to. Like...I'm not sure what, just cool stuff. Maybe a little bull riding...

Oh wait, that one is photoshopped. Ummm...how about playing football with hot chics at the hotel pool...

...Wait a minute, WHAT????

Woo woo! Go Travis!

You don't mind that I look at your blog, do you? I remember you saying you were just doing it for you and something about not wanting Jon to find out. :)

You can come to my blog anytime Kate!!! I just don't want to HAVE to blog if I don't wanna! Heehee! It's kinda like the BBQ grill. If I pretend I don't know how it works, I don't ever have to use it, and Jon will have to do it and not me! : )
