To begin with, I shall introduce the inhabitants of our crazy household.

Here are my husband and I. We have been married for 10 very happy years. Jon is the best thing that ever happened to me. My life wouldn't be nearly as wonderful without him in it. He is funny-he is always making us laugh. He is very blunt-no beating around the bush with this guy, and you never have to wonder what he is thinking. He is giving and generous-if you ever need a helping hand , he will be there. Although he hates school, he loves to learn. When he wants to learn about something he immerses himself in it, reading books and scouring the internet, until he is satisfied he knows all he wants to know. He works hard, he plays hard, and he spoils me rotten. He can name almost any song on the radio after only three notes, and loves to throw out movie quotes with his dad and brother. And he's very handsome.

This is my son Travis. Besides being very handsome like his father, he is brilliant. I am not just saying that because I am his mother, either. He is an extremely intelligent kid. He loves to read, and has an amazing memory. We used to take him to the pet store when he was younger, and the employees loved to talk to him because he knew the scientific names of all the fish. He loves music. He blushes when the names of certain girls are mentioned. He has a soft heart, and is the best big brother anyone could ask for.
This is Alyssa. She is extremely froofy. As girly as they come. She loves the color pink madly! When she was younger, after she outgrew the princess stage, she wanted to be a waitress named Lola, and wear a pink waitress dress. She would gladly fetch us anything we wanted as long as she could first write it down on her waitress notebook. There was a time when I wondered if she would ever have any scholarly inclinations. I shouldn't have worried. She is always at the top of her class. If it looks like someone is trying to take her top spot, her competitive nature kicks in and she steps it up a notch.

This is Hannah. You are just as likely to find her digging in the dirt or romping in the barn as having a tea party. She loves it all. And incidentally, she sees nothing wrong with having a tea party in the dirt covered, mismatched clothes in which she was just romping around in the barn. There's nothing wrong with a little dirt, and no reason plaids and polka dots should not be mixed. She loves life, even though it can be rough when you are her age and the middle child. She loves school for both the educational and social opportunities.

This is Max. He loves his cowboy boots. If it has been too long since I have heard them clomping around the house, I worry. When Max is too quiet, that is a sure sign that there is mischief afoot. Mischief that involves toothpaste being smeared into the carpet and/or being eaten (and poison control being called); shampoo being poured out into the tub; or cereal being dumped out all over the kitchen floor so that marshmallows can be picked out and eaten. There was an episode involving Uncle Justin's deoderant, and I once found him sitting in the toilet. He does his best work when he has an accomplice- usually one of his cousins. Life goes much more smoothly if I keep a close eye on Mr. Max. And that is ok, because hanging out with Max is pretty darn fun!

This is Brianna. She is a tiny, bright eyed little girl. She is also as fiesty as can be, and can eat like you would not believe. She loves shoes and pretty things. She has recently become Max's sidekick . Max's toothpaste episode? Yes, she was there, covered in toothpaste and having a lovely time. She is happy and cheerful, but yet, you don't want to mess with her. She will give you a tongue lashing like you have never had. You may not be able to understand a word she is saying, but believe me, you will get the picture.

This is my sweet baby, Dallin. We like to sit around all day in the rocking chair and snuggle. He likes to eat and sleep, and I just stare at him because he is so cute. When he smiles, it brightens up my day!

And there you have it. The whole crazy crew. My favorite people in the whole world.
